What is kombucha? 

Kombucha is a nutrient-packed powerhouse of probiotics. It’s a refreshing, powerful living health drink that’s downright delicious, too. But how do we make it?  

First, we take sweetened, 100 per cent natural oolong tea and a ‘SCOBY’, aka a ‘Symbiotic Colony Of Live Bacteria and Yeast’ (And yep, now you know exactly where the weird name comes from!). Then we brew the two together for 40 days. 

Most kombuchas only ferment for around 7 to 30 days, but we like to give Nexba Kombucha a bit of extra time. That way, we know for sure that our SCOBY has digested all the sugar in the tea, so the result is totally sugar free and only the nutritious stuff is still left. 

Finally, once we have our brew, we add our Naturally Sugar Free blend and all-natural flavours and millions of extra probiotics for all your good gut feels.

What is kombucha good for?

How often should you drink kombucha? 

How much kombucha you can drink and how often you drink it depends on several factors, from the type of kombucha to your own personal medical conditions. Homemade kombucha can have higher levels of caffeine, alcohol and sugar than store-bought kombucha, so best to eer on the side of caution when it comes to homemade booch

Can you drink Kombucha on empty stomach?

Why does Kombucha make me feel good?
