The "Grinch" Jelly Recipe

by Hannah Singleton December 11, 2018

This festive jelly is definitely one the kids will appreciate! It has everything traditional jelly has... that sweet flavour, delicious texture and bright colour, only without the excessive quantities of sugar and artificial flavours.

Green sugar free jelly

We have used Neba lemon and lime sparkling infusion for this recipe however it works well with any of our sparkling infusion range. You can even use our Probiotix waters... the options are endless!

This jelly also has the added superfood bonus of chlorophyll (this is what creates the green colour). Chlorophyll is anti-inflammatory and has been shown to support skin health, digestive function and even acts as a natural deodorant!

Ingredients

Servings 3.

1 cup Nexba lemon and lime sparkling infusion
1 cup filtered water
1/4 cup chlorophyll
2-3 tbsp raw honey or maple syrup
1 1/2 tsp agar agar

Instructions.

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Turn off heat and leave to simmer for a few minutes.
  3. Transfer to 3 jelly moulds and place in the fridge for 2-3 hours or until set.
  4. Garnish with fresh mint leaves, lime and/or strawberries (optional).
