Nexba Summer Smoothie Bowl

There’s nothing quite like a refreshing smoothie or smoothie bowl on a hot day, preferably after a beach session or a stroll in the sunshine. It’s a great way to get in lots of nutrients as they are jam packed with fresh fruit (and sometimes you can even sneak in some veg). We recommend adding in a superfood booster of choice to enhance the nutritional value even further. For this one, we’ve added a pinch of ground turmeric.

The addition of our NEW Flavour Fiesta Pineapple and Coconut Tepaché not only adds a burst of flavour but it also works wonders for your gut. This drink, like all our beverages, is 100% sugar free with nothing artificial and is vegan friendly. On top of that, this tepaché is loaded with 500 million live probiotics (bacillus coagulans) per bottle! 

Nexba coconut and pineapple tepache

Ingredients

Servings 2.

1 frozen mango
100 grams frozen coconut flesh (if you don’t have this ingredient you can replace with an additional frozen mango or 1 frozen banana)
1/2 cup pineapple flesh 
1 cup Nexba pineapple and coconut tepaché (live sparkling probiotic drink)
1/2 tsp turmeric (optional)

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a high-power blender, blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Spoon into bowls and add desired toppings. We like to keep it simple and top with fresh fruit and shredded coconut.
