Strawberry Mocktail recipe

March 18, 2020

Looking to kick back with a refreshing beverage but don’t really want the alcohol? This strawberry mocktail is so easy to make and absolutely bursting with flavour.

Not only is it better for you without the alcohol, but it also has a big Vitamin C hit from the strawberries and a serious probiotic punch from the Nexba Live Sparkling Water. 1 BILLION live probiotics per can, to be precise. It’s a yes from us!

Our ever-popular sparkling water has had an upgrade!

Our new LIVE sparkling water is an upgrade on our OG sparkling water range.

Our Live range features the same delicious flavours now with the added health benefits of gut nurturing probiotics.

For this strawberry mocktail recipe we have used the mixed berry flavour which really enhances the delicious naturally sweet berry taste.

Other flavours in our Live Sparkling Water range include:

  • Watermelon, cucumber and mint
  • Passionfruit
  • Pure

All are delicious so you can use any flavour that tickles your fancy.

We haven’t added any ice to this recipe as we didn’t want to dilute the strawberry flavour. But by using frozen berries, we've kept that delicious slushy-like texture. If you’re making this drink for a few people, however, it could be worth adding ice to make it go a little further.

Want to up your cocktail/mocktail game?

If you’re looking to really take your cocktail/mocktail game to the next level, we highly recommend investing in a high-speed, high-power blender. This way you don’t have to over blend your drink which can sometimes take away from the thickness and texture. If you don’t have a fancy blender, that’s all good. Just make sure you blend on the lowest possible speed so you don’t liquefy it too much.

For that cocktail-like quality, we recommend garnishing with a few fresh mint leaves, fresh berries and perhaps a wedge of lime. So good you won’t even notice the alcohol is missing! Best of all, you can drink as many as you like and we can guarantee you’ll wake up feeling fresh.

Servings 1.

1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup Nexba Live Mixed Berry Sparkling Water (or flavour of choice)
1 handful ice cubes (optional)
1-2 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp lime zest
Lime wheels, mint and fresh strawberries (to garnish)

  1. Combine all ingredients (except garnish) in a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend until well combined. We recommend blending on a low speed to prevent this mocktail from over liquefying.
  3. Pour into a glass and garnish with lime, mint and/or fresh strawberries.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
