What is Nexba Pineapple and Coconut Tepaché?

First of all, it is an absolute flavour fiesta! Mexican inspired, our tepaché is 100% sugar free, contains nothing artificial, is vegan friendly AND contains 500 million live probiotics (bacillus coagulans) per bottle. It's a sup-a-licious addition to this cocktail that not only adds numerous health benefits but also scores a home-run on the flavour-o-meter. 

 

Pineapple margarita Nexba

Top Tip

The addition of freshly blended pineapple helps to create a slightly thick texture, however, if you’re short on time you can also use store-bought pineapple juice. We do recommend checking the label to ensure it is 100% pineapple to avoid a very sugary drink.

 

Ingredients

Servings 3-4.

1 tsp coconut oil (for salt rim)
2 tsp pink salt
1 small handful ice cubes
1/2 cup fresh pineapple
1/4 cup lime juice
3 shots tequila
2 shots triple sec
150-200ml Nexba Pineapple and Coconut Tepaché
Pineapple, lime and/or mint (to garnish)

 

Instructions

  1. Coat glass rim with coconut oil and dip in pink salt.
  2. Add fresh pineapple and ice cubes to a blender, blend well.
  3. Add freshly blended pineapple juice, tequila, triple sec and lime juice to a cocktail shaker. Shake.
  4. Evenly distribute between 3-4 glasses and top up with Nexba Pineapple and Coconut Tepaché (add more as desired).
  5. Garnish with pineapple wedges, lime and mint.
