What does it mean to be #NaturallyBrave? In celebration of the launch of Australia's first #NaturallySugarFree soft drinks, Nexba is sharing a series of Naturally Brave stories from the brave people who keep our beaches safe.
Our eighth story comes from Orla Burke - Bronte SLSC
Orla Burke's Naturally Brave Story
Orla is a new member of Bronte SLSC having joined one year ago. She loves being a part of the community that the club gives her and has taken huge confidence in the skills and knowledge she has gained whilst being at the club, especially important to Orla with her young family and being able to teach them the necessities of water safety in and around the beach. Orla feels she was naturally brave when undertaking her Bronze Medallion (surf life saving mandatory qualification) and the encouragement and support she received from those around her to provide guidance, support and teach her the required skills meant she knew she had made the right decision to join the movement. Orla’s passion for surf life saving and her commitment to refining her skills and perfecting her qualifications, even if that means going the extra mile is what makes her naturally brave.
