What does it mean to be #NaturallyBrave? In celebration of the launch of Australia's first #NaturallySugarFree soft drinks, Nexba is sharing a series of Naturally Brave stories from the brave people who keep our beaches safe.
Our seventh story comes from Jack Mossman - Bronte SLSC
Jack Mossman's Naturally Brave Story
Jack was signed up to the life saving way of life early on as a Bronte SLSC Nipper from the age of 5, now 15, Jack forms a part of the patrolling group keeping all beach goers safe throughout the season. Jack credits the laid back and relax feel of the club and being able to hang out with his mates as the perks of his volunteer efforts. Having made friends from the club over the years, Jack recalls attending the State Championships when he competed in the U8’s wade relay where he was about to win gold with his team when his team mate fell awkwardly breaking his leg and ultimately losing the race. The gold, didn’t matter at the end of the day as they had given it their best and worked hard to get into the final. This attitude of Jack’s is carried through to today where he believes life savers are naturally brave as they are doing things they may be scared of, but are doing so without hesitation.
