Fancy a G&T with a fruity, refreshing twist?
If like us, you sometimes find grapefruit a little too bitter, this is the drink for you.
This Grapefruit Gin and Tonic recipe also includes Nexba's Naturally Sweet Kombucha which perfectly pairs with the sharp, citrus flavours and offsets the bitterness to leave you with a sweet, tangy, delightful cocktail.
If you don’t have the Rose Lemonade Kombucha, you can either leave it out altogether and stick to a more classical fruit-infused G&T. Or, you can swap in one of our naturally sugar free soft drinks. Nexba Lemonade pairs well with the grapefruit and tonic flavours.
Garnish this cocktail with grapefruit wedges, lemon and/or rosemary sprigs. Restaurant standard in minutes!
Did you know the average tonic water has more than 6 teaspoons of sugar and 100 calories per 300mL bottle?
Just to put that into context, the World Health Organisation (WHO) recommends a maximum of 5-10 teaspoons of sugar a DAY. So you're maxing out your limit with just one G&T!
Surprised? Don’t worry - we were too!
Luckily for you, taking a popular sugar-packed drink and making it healthier (but just as delicious) is just the kind of challenge our Nexba innovation team loves.
And we've perfected a naturally sugar free tonic water that has all the amazing tangy bitter flavours of a premium tonic water, without the mountain of sugar or any artificial ingredients.
Using Nexba as a mixer takes out all the hard work… There’s no need to add sweetener because we’ve added sugar-free natural sweetness to all our beverages. Also, for many of our drinks, we’ve even helped you out by adding in delicious fruity flavours. You’re welcome!
