Whisky sour with a hint of spice! Perfect for the silly season.

Cinnamon whisky sour

If you prefer a slightly sweeter cocktail, you can add a teaspoon of maple syrup however we find the addition of our Nexba sparkling infusion adds the perfect amount of natural sweetness. We’ve used the lemon & lychee flavour from our sparkling water range however if you prefer more traditional flavours we’d recommend straight up lemon sparkling infusion.

Garnish with star anise, sage and lemon wedges to make it a lil’ bit fancy.

Ingredients

Servings 2.

Large handful ice cubes
3 shots bourbon
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup Nexba lemon & lychee sparkling infusion
Star anise, sage and lemon wedges, to garnish

Instructions

  1. Distribute ice cubes between 2 glasses.
  2. Combine bourbon, lemon juice and cinnamon in a cocktail shaker and shake.
  3. Evenly distribute between the glasses and top up with Nexba lemon & lychee sparkling infusion.
  4. Garnish with star anise, sage and/or lemon wedges.
